Hi Korey, I think we met at the American Tango Institute ( maybe 2008) in Chicago. My name is Gerardo Perez Mendez, I’m bandoneon player.
You put me in contact with Tango Lorca and we met again in Kansas, is that correct? I am Uruguayan from Montevideo. I returned to my country in 2009.
Since then I practice my profession as a Nephrologist and play my Bandoneon for my patients in their sessions of Chronic or Acute Dialysis or in post-operative kidney transplants.
Now I would like to resume my musical activity. I would love to see you again and even play together. Thank you very much for everything you do for Tango.
In 2015 I was in Germany and I played with Karin Eckstein in Carlsfeld and Stuttgart.
See you soon. Hug
Hello Gerard,
Yes I remember meeting you and fabulous concert with Tango Lorca. I’m currently living in Berlin, Germany and would be very happy to meet/play together if the opportunity should arise.
warm regards,
Korey
Hi Korey. Would it be possible to get the MusicXML version of one of these PDFs? I play piano for LOFT in San Francisco and need to make some edits, but it’s incredibly difficult to do it all by hand. I can’t get any online conversions to work and figured it’d be best to go to you to ask anyway. Thank you for considering it!
Hi Kelly, have you asked Sascha? I think LOFT already licensed Poema and have the Sibelius file. If not, I can send you the piano part…

Hi Kelly,
We have made a simplified version of Poema you can find here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/oasaujprj280brg/Poema%20for%20Pop-Up%20Tango%20Orchestra%20%28not%20transposed%29%20April.pdf?dl=0
That may help.
Best wishes
Simon
Thanks Simon, I’ll check it out.
